According to LLL "Current research suggests that human milk can safely be stored in glass or plastic receptacles with no significant nutrient loss."

But according to some links from kellymom it does depend on how you store it & I have seen some references to not using all frozen if the baby is excl. fed expressed milk as they won't get some of the antibodies as they are killed by freezing.

This link has some interesting info & it's more recent than the LLL article above & references LLL materials...does anyone have the more recent breastfeeding answer book they can check this?..I only have the 97 version...

apparently quite a lot cling to the inside of plastic bottles, which is what you can buy glass bottles for expressed milk. (read this in some LLL publication)

According to some research done by La Leche League, after 8 days there were more in there than when it was expressed. There might be more info on their site if anybody wants to have a look. I just remember the fact from my councellor training...
