Infant feeding

Is it too late to increase supply in my other boob?

DS has always fed off one boob as I've a flat nipple on the other. He's 16 weeks. I can pump a very small amount from the unused boob. If I pump every day will it increase supply or have I lost it?

I think you can do it. How about pumping on that side every feed, and putting your baby on for a small feed each time at the end, so he can stimulate further and also get some more hind milk.

The Haakaa pump might be good as you can just attach it while you feed and you don't need to do much! It's a suction pump. Not expensive, on Amazon.

I'm not sure about needing any herbs/foods to boost supply, as you need to stimulate the production in that breast only. You don't want to have a massive oversupply.

La leche league helpline would be a good source of help and info too: 0345 120 2918

You could take fenugreek tablets to boost your supply, allow baby to feed from it and pump inbetween to boost your supply

At 16 weeks your baby might now be able to deal with a flat nipple, this is the age at which we managed to get off nipple shields. Breastfeeding to boost supply will be a lot easier than pumping.
If it was me I might start the baby off on the 'normal' boob until let down is finished, switch to the flat one to get the baby used to the nipple and stimulate milk while they're still hungry, and when the milk runs out, switch back to the first one again.
Good luck
