Hand twisting and wrist twirling

My LO is 8 Months and for as long as I can remember he twirls his wrists and feet when he gets excited about something- his dinner when sat in his high chair, his toys, his favourite tv show, when he sees me or his daddy, at the zoo or aquarium or when he sees our cat.
His whole body gets excited and his little eyes go wide with excitement and his hands start twirling, I always thought it was just something he did to show his excitement which is what my Health visitor said too until I read online (I know 🙈) that hand flapping and wrist twirling can be a sign or Autism?
My question is do any other babies do this or have done this and it's normal as with it being my first baby I am not sure what is normal development and behaviour in babies

My dd used to do this with her feet all the time! She'd sit with her legs slightly raised off the floor and twirl her ankles! LOADS.
She's definitely not autistic.
