Sorry don't like any of them - too popular for me. I prefer Eva to Evie/Eve.

My DD is a Sophie and I still think it is a lovely name. Sophie Louise.

I love Libby and like the spelling Elisabeth.

Evie - I think of Lola's friend in Charlie & Lola, but it is a sweet name.

Freya - Scandanavia origin - I would have it on my short list, except it is so ridiculously popular at the moment.

Sophie - pretty, if you don't mind it being quite common.

Ok, you like Sophie, what about staying with the bible theme, picking Susanna and nn Susie??

I am so ready to hear of a baby Susie. A tidal wave of Sophies leaves me with no opinion at all any more. When I hear of another one I mean.

You gotta try and let the associations go. My x was like this. "I used to cycle 'round the block with a very fat sophie and it's a fat girl's name" He actually said that....

My son has the same name as an annoying boy in my school, but in about a fortnight, the name was far more my son's.

I know a Lydia of my age whom I dislike though, kind of puts me off!

I think it's going to be a case or deciding when she's born, because DH keeps changing his name on what he likes too!

Not keen on Sophie or Freya

ok, ok, ok, ok, ok!

GOTYA

What about Lydia instead of Libby? Not that I especially prefer it, they are both exactly the kind of name I like, but Lydia would tie in with bible 'theme'.

Start mentioning your great aunt Elizabeth now and again, just to pave the way in case you DO decide to use Elizabeth/Libby.

DS's are very traditional, biblical names BTW - not that I'm trying to confuse things

Nobody owns the name Elizabeth. YOu could put Elizabeth on bc use Libby.

Invent a great aunt Elizabeth. Everybody has one!

I know only one Freya who is in DS1's reception class, I know it is getting more popular though...although DH thought I'd made it up at first!!

Libby - do love this but wonder about how an adult would feel with this name? really close friend has just called her DD Elizabeth though so couldn't really call her that, although she always calls her DD Lizzie.

Evie - don't know any Evie's but I do prefer it to Eve or Eva.

Sophie - I know of one 'little' one!

Freya - lovely but very popular and will date her to between 2003 and 2013 I think.
Libby - i really love this one. So cute and pretty. Would you put Elizabeth on bc. I mean, I love Libby, but incase it sounds tired like Debbie in 40 yrs time, good to have Elizabeth to fall back on. JUST in case.
Evie - lovely, but would put just Eve on the birth cert. Popular but lovely.
Sophie - ok but tbh I'm knee deep in Sophies. It IS pretty and I thought of it 7 yrs ago when I was pg, but now, I would like to see Susie or Sylvie for a change.
