Is it strange to name my baby after my favorite singer, Gracie Abrams? Her music has been incredibly meaningful to me, helping me through my divorce, and bringing me closer to my wife. We have also both loved the name Gracie for a long time, and it's not too common here in New Zealand. But also could just do the middle name Grace. Already have a son, Spencer. Please be gentle with your responses.

I personally prefer Grace with Gracie as the nn. But I love the story behind why you want to use Gracie so go with your heart.

I would also highly suggest you listen to her music if you are to comment on this - her voice is just so beautiful.

I saw her play at a concert last year and she has a nice voice.
I think I would go for Grace as a name and call your dd Gracie, which is a lovely nn.

Found this by looking up Gracie and I simply adore her! My teenage daughter has been obsessed with her for the past 2 years and we went to the Good Riddance tour together along with her best friend and she made me get into her music and I am really enjoying it

No, Gracie Abrams birth name is Gracie. She’s not Grace.

Love Gracie! Why not. It doesn’t stand out among Ava, Evie, Edie, Elsie, Maisie, Esme which are all popular (my daughter is one of these!) And they will all be adults together so it won’t stand out then either.
