Baby names

Noah, Jacob and ....

SO..... I don't seem to be finding the ONE girls name I love.
I have a list of names: Bonnie, Chloe, Elsie, Freya, Georgia, Heidi, Isabella, Skye and Sofia. But responses to these names have been variable.

I prefer more popular names and names that are less likely to be shortened.

Please help me to find a name for Noah and Jacob's Sister.

Please pick either:
• 1 or 2 names from my list above if there are any you think would fit perfectly OR
• If you don't think any or those sound nice with Noah and Jacob, please suggest 1 or 2 girls names you think would.

My reason for limiting to 1 or 2 is because I'm trying to narrow down, rather than be overwhelmed by pages of names.

Thank you.

Chloe

Chloe by far. I think it goes best. It’s also biblical, New Testament. It’s a lovely name.

Elsie I dislike and it’s too cutesy alongside full names Noah and Jacob. Isabella is a lovely name, but of a very different Continental style. Freya is Scandinavian, also very different, a bit “dressing-up box” to me, odd to pick without any links to those counties.

Think I've narrowed down to Chloe, Elsie, Freya and Isabella now.
Both Elsie and Isabella still have biblical links alongside Noah and Jacob.

So.....
Noah, Jacob and Chloe
Noah, Jacob and Elsie
Noah, Jacob and Freya
Noah, Jacob and Isabella

Which do you favour and why?

I like most of the names you've mentioned OP, many were on our shortlist. I particularly like Chloe & Freya.
We also had Sophie, Lauren, Anna, Bethan, Mia, Leah and Scarlett.

They are personal negative associations.
Ah, right. I understand.

@daisypond They are personal negative associations. In my job I meet alot of people and its hard to get over them and use the name.
Eve is a pretty name though. I will add to the list.

I like Eve with your names

Nothing negative about Naomi or Sara.
Eve? Can’t be shortened. Popular. Nice. Goes really well.

@daisypond I'm not particularly fond of any biblical girls names and some have negative associations from people with those names.

None of them go. Your sons have well known Old Testament/Jewish names and the names you have picked are a very different style. I’d look for something Old Testament for a girl.

Naomi
Sara (as a variant of Sarah)

@VintageGirl89 No that's fair enough, think that one is an acquired taste! My friend has a daughter Eden but also know someone with a son also called it... So you're not wrong!

@mrs87 and @BoobsOnTheMoon I quite like Eden, however I think its a bit unisex for me. I have a unisex name myself and dislike. I think it lacks a femininity showhow. So I don't particularly want to do that to my daughter.

Hannah would work really well actually, as suggested by PPs.

I agree that those seem to sound too modern to go with Noah and Jacob. I also agree Hannah goes really well and whilst I hadn't really thought about using it myself I do like it and I think it is really quite underused for no real reason. Elizabeth might work.

Rachel Hannah or anna would be my pick

Anna. Biblical and not likely to be shortened.

From your list Georgia and Sofia (Much prefer Sophia tho) are the best to go with Noah and Jacob.

My own suggestions for you would be Jemima and Gabrielle

I agree with a PP I think a Biblical/Hebrew themed name works best. Abigail, Rebecca, Rachel, Hannah or even Keziah?

Jacob, Noah and Hannah.
Jacob, Noah and Sarah.
