What works with the MN Rachel?

Currently pregnant with DC#2 and all I know is I'm having a baby! If it's a girl, it's important to me that Rachel is the middle name as it has special significance and DH is on board with this. What first names would work? Love Clara but think it sounds a bit clunky followed by Rachel (not sure how important this is to be honest but looking for other alternatives). Thanks in advance.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm really sorry about your loss madame.

I'm going to run some by DH! An additional middle name is also an option!

I really like Iliveinalighthouses suggestion Helena Rachel is lovely.

Clara is lovely, though I agree that it doesn't really flow into Rachel as a middle name (I think it's the two 'ra' sounds together). Would you be up for another middle name I between? For example something like Clara Elizabeth Rachel sounds really nice to me.

Go with Clara if you love it - people rarely use middle names and rarely will people actually say the two names together. And I don't think that clunky

I think any name would work with it. I don't think they have to flow or be perfectly matched. Just pick a name you love!

What about Rachel as the first name? I have a very young Rachel and it's so unusual as a first name for babies these days, we always get lots of lovely comments.

Rachel is quite a 'strong' middle name. I think because it as a hard sound at each end. I don't think any first name will flow into it iyswim, but it won't matter because you hardly ever use your full name anyway.

I think Clara is lovely.

I think Clara Rachel sounds fine. The only one that I don't think goes from your list is Rose Rachel - doesn't sound right at all IMO.
