Old style boys names

So at the minute most of the boys names I like are what I would typicall call 'old' names so favourites so far are Arthur and Stanley. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest any others which would work

Grinmollie123 John, Dave, Phil and Steve are obviously the most overused names in the country. They're not being used as baby names right now because everyone is heartily sick of them. This does not make them classics.
I think Douglas and Frank work nicely as old style boys names though, I love Frankie for a little boy.

I am sorry, but I can't see how David and Stephen can possibly be considered 'not overused'.

I am tripping over Daves and Steves everywhere I go...-admittedly they are not young children, but I still think those names are nowhere near ready for a revival!

they are not boring - before someone says that
Sometimes people try too hard to be trendy/unique and saddle a child with an 'out there' name Smile

Edmund, if my ovaries ever get their act together I'd love this name for a son.

Robert.

Has gone a bit dated and a bit old sounding for a little boy. But plenty of NN potential. Robbie, Bobbie and Rob when older.
