What do you think of the above name? Having twin boy and girl and have decided on Polly for our girl. Do you like Polly and Bram? X

^^ What Vince said (I don't think that's the first time I've posted that :) )

Abraham is fabulous, though, and I like Polly - though not sure the two names really 'go' togther - though perhaps just as well, as it'll be good to emphasise their individuality.

I always thought I would call boy/girl twins Thomas and Tamsin, which is very much not individuality-emphasising Blush

I don't like bram. Abe is nice though

Pram and Brolly Blush

I absolutely love both names though!

I really l ike Abraham.

But I pronounce it with the emphasis on the ABE so would probably shorten to Abe or Abrie.

I adore it. DH doesn't, sadly, or one of our DSs would be Bram, the other probably Moses. I so should've snuck out & registered them when he wasn't looking! Wink

I know an incredibly cool elderly Abraham who has always gone as Braham, which I think is likewise pretty cool. Bram also good.

I like Abraham, with Abe for short. Bram reminds me of bran and getting enough fibre! I like Bramley but to me, it's a surname and apple, rather than a first name. Not keen on Polly I'm afraid, sorry. I like the suggestion of Penelope (Penny) or how about Philippa (Pippa)?

Love Bram. Not keen on Polly.

You can have Bramley for a girl.

Oh wow, love Polly and Bram they are perfect together! Abe is also good as is Abram!

In the bible, Abraham was originally called Abram - that might work better if you want Bram as a nickname.

Abraham is surely most likely to be called Abe?
It's a good name though.

Well Bran is itself a Welsh name prn Brahn, means Raven.

It is also unfortunately quite synonymous with a breakfast cereal.

Like Bram Stoker?

No, don't like it at all, sounds like Pram or Bran. Love Abe though.

I like it. I'd prefer Penelope and Abraham nn Polly and Bram.
