Rose or Phoebe?

Hello!

DD1 is due in a couple of weeks and DH and I can't quite decide on a name for her! We both love Phoebe and Rose (would probably end up being 'Rosie') but I'm just not sure! I also really like Margot but DH has vetoed, likewise I vetoed his suggestion of Emily.

Also can anyone suggest similar names that we may have overlooked? Middle name will be Emilia after DH grandmother, surname is 2 syllables.

Thankyou Smile

Rose. Not Rosie or Phoebe. Rose is a beautiful first name.

Rose Emilia Surname.

Then if you ever have dc2 and its a She, Phoebe.

I prefer rose or Roseanna

Love Phoebe. Rose is too granny IMO. Rosa is nicer but doesn't work so well with Emilia.

Love Rose or Rosie. So pretty Smile

Not keen on Phoebe at all.

Rose and its variations seem to be very popular at the moment. On my MN antenatal group, there are two Rosas, a Rose and a Rosalyn.

I don't know why it's so popular! I seem to inadvertently choose popular names. Ah well.
