Baby names

If we like Brian what else do you suggest?

I'm pregnant with a boy and we both like older names, but not ones that end in "y" or "ie". I don't like nicknames as full names but don't have any preferences about whether a name can be shortened.
We'd like a name that suits an adult, as he'll only be a baby for a very short time.
We're in Ireland and Brian is a top 100 name, but popularity doesn't really bother me. I can't think of much else I like - any suggestions?

I like Bryce or Brice. Just that bit edgier than Brian.

Caoimhín, my ex boyfriend's name (he was always banging on about being descended from Brian Boru! Or Brendan (as I would have been named if I'd been the boy everyone was expecting me to be!) Grin
