Convincing OH on a name - techniques?

We're currently 4 weeks pregnant with baby number two, as with our first, DD, we're all settled on a girl's name. And, as with our first, we cannot agree on a boy's name.

I'm absolutely sold on a certain name and OH doesn't particularly like any name, so surely my choice is default, right?

I know it's not that simple, but she's "not sure" about my choice. Any suggestions on how to sell my suggestion would be gratefully received.

Does she hate it? If she just hasn't warmed to it and has no strong feelings about another name then it may simply grow on her knowing you like it. Be warned she may also grow to dislike it.....

I had a name sorted for my ds within a month of finding out that I was pregnant. However, we changed our minds when he arrived because he didn't suit the name iykwim. Wait till the baby arrives or atleast until she has the 20 week scan, you'll have more names to work with once you know the gender.

The more you pressurise her, the more resistant she will become. Just relax and enjoy the pregnancy.

Since you don't even know if it's a boy or a girl yet just leave it be for a while, and find something you both like, the world is full of millions of names & you can't force your DP to like the one you do
