I'm trying for a baby!! Yipee, so I'm already getting a massive head start on baby names! So far me and the partner have thought about goku and luna. Anymore kind of names like this that people know of?????? :)

I like both Luna and Goku. But please don't go with Vegeta, that reminds me too much of vegetable when written down. Wink Or Trunks, that would be even worse. Or 18 for a girl...
Maybe Tien?

Luna does remind me of Harry Potter, but Luna Lovegood is a lovely character.

"EVERYONE in real life loves it"

Even if I hated a name, in real life you'd never know.

This thread isn't about an actual baby with a name. It's consideration of possible names for a future baby.

Obviously, one should not make personal attacks on a poster, or make assumptions about their motivations, but you can say you don't like name (or type of name) and why.

Luna's fine but I don't think of it as particularly 'out there'.

Goku sounds like a Moshi monster!

What about:

Goku and Luna are nice names, don't worry about the opinions of rude people in here, they're not the same as real life people.

They told us not to call our son Auron but we did and EVERYONE in real life lives it. If you like a name then use it Grin

I like Luna! I don't think it's all that unusual is it?

Goku though - no. Cartoons should play no part in naming real life children in my opinion.

I also remember naming my imaginary sextuplets Grin. Although I ran out of middle names after Louise, Jane & Anne because I wasn't aware there were any other possibilities Blush.

Goku is nice! Also Doku

Take a random word. That will be an unusual name.

Try Desk or Perpetuity. Or maybe Scintillate or Quickly.

Or Jane. That's very unusual these days.

Kairi is anime/Japanese/geek-related (Kingdom Hearts) :)

I was adamant when I was 13 that if I had a DD, she'd be called Kairi.

She isn't Grin

"I used to play What Shall I Call My Future Child when I was 13"

So did I, I think everyone did! I remember those all-female sextuplets being born (can't remember their surname just now). I spent hours working out what I would call my six daughters.
