DD2 is due in 2 weeks and we are feeling a bit bad in how unprepared we are for her compared to what we were with DD1

all sorts of things like this DD has not had much bought for her because we kept all of DD1s things

and in regards to names we keep changing our minds and not agreeing and have just given up almost!

so we have declared this Saturday as DD2 day. we have a babysitter, are finishing her room, setting up the Moses basket, buying her a sling etc and NAILING down a shortlist.

our shortlist so far contains:
Charlotte
Imogen

and thats it Sad

I loved the name Eden and Esme but was vetoed, and Elizabeth. im trying to compile my list to present to dh on Saturday for consideration (I'm obsessed with having the name before arrival lol - left it late!)

please can you suggest some E names for me? The middle name will be Gillian of Gill depending on what we decide for the first name

Erin and Esme are high on my list. I also like Esther but DH doesn't as it reminds him of Esther Rantzen! I like Eve/Eva but my DH's name is the name of the first man, which would sound silly with Eve IYSWIM! Like Emilia too but do worry it would be constantly confused with Amelia.

Bit off the brief, but Josephine or Persephone could both be Effie.

I love Elisabeth, so many lovely NNs - Liz, Libby, Eliza, Beth
Charlotte one of my faves too
How about Aoife (EE-fa)?
