Jumping the gun a bit as not even pregnant yet ... as far as I know. Currently TTC DC2 and already have a DS called Isaac. Been looking for name inspiration and was looking for something that is also biblical (not for religious reasons). For boys I can only think of Adam, Noah and Jacob, which are all great names, but would like something less popular. For girls, I like Martha and Phoebe but would appreciate other suggestions.

I have a Caleb and Reuben so I think they're great! The meaning of Caleb didn't put me off.

I also love Elijah, Saul, Joel, Barnabas and Nathaniel.

I'm not so good at girls names but I think Rachel is lovely.

Here in Spain Noa (no H) is a girl's name - a possibility? I love it but DH thinks it's a bit odd - and he's the Spaniard!! Jesus is also popular, but perhaps not for UK. Xavier is lovely and was on our list for DS but the nn here is Xavi pronounced 'chavvy' so, er, no!

I have a Zachariah.

Am currently expecting ds2. From last time, we considered Ezekiel, Noah and Nathaniel. This time we're considering Joshua, Benjamin, Reuben and Elijah. We also like Ethan.

Have never thought about girls names, so can't help there!

I have a Zacharias.

Wanted an older, traditional name which wasn't overused.

Although when he was born and I told people his name many people went catsbum-mouth and said; "Oh, that's very modern .....!"

Hmm

I also really, really love Reuben. If I ever have another boy that's the name I'll be using.

Also like Delilah.

Nathaniel is my all time favourite boys name. I also think Peter and Daniel are lovely and under-used.

Why do you want a biblical name if not for religious reasons?

I like Eli. I did like Caleb too until I found out that it means 'dog'. I think it meant in terms of loyalty but even so, it put me off.
