Jessica. I remember begging my parents to call my sister (5 yrs younger) Jessica. They didn't.

I went off it for years but now am coming back round to the idea.. unlikely to use it though.

oooh I just remembered I used to have a doll called Skye as well after hearing it on Home and Away and thinking it sounded really slammin. Her 'brother and sister' were twin dolls called Lee and Leah.

Oliver was my absolute favourite name for a boy from the age of nine, until last year when I realised just how ridiculously popular it was getting, and suddenly found I didn't really like it any more!
For girls I used to like Molly-Ellen, Isobel and Beatrice. I also went through a phase of wanting to name a daughter Darrell after reading the Mallory towers series.

I loved Jack, Gabrielle/a & Poppy. I have a Jack, no longer like Gabrielle/a & am considering Poppy for DC3.

Yes I love the name Lavinia... especially with the diphthong at the end, so it's like Lavineea but with the stress on the 'i'. Lavinia was the name of the Latin princess who was the subject of the fight between Aeneas and Turnus in Virgil's Aeneid- so it goes back a long way! :)

Lavinia and Virginia! Also anything that could have a z nn (Shaz for Sharon, Kaz for Karen, Maz for Amanda). And no, I didn't use them!

As a child I thought Jacqueline was the most exotic sounding name ever!!

Now DD (not Jacqueline!) calls all her dolls Annabelle or Leandra ( Confused )

Each and every one of my dolls as a child was called skinny Hmm

I can't really remember what I liked in childhood, I think I was given a doll named Melissa which I thought was terribly sophisticated and being called Ruby I apparently told my mum I'd like to have twins called Diamond and Emerald and continue to name any further children are jewels. That didn't happen!

As a teen I loved Vivienne, Star and Electra for girls and Spike for a boy. However my confession is dd1 is named after an older girl I developed a bit of a crush on around 16. She was American and stunning and pretty much the chicest person I had met at that point. So i guess I did use a name from my teens.

When I was eight I adored the name Jason, and gave the name to my guinea pig. I couldn't imagine having a child with that name, though.

My DC's names were all thought up during my twenties, and "filed for future use".

I had always planned to name my son Angus. When I met DH I discovered to my dismay that his one and only nephew was called...Angus. Grrr....

I used to love Noah- but I was convinced it was a girl's name (I guess because it ended in an 'a' sound...?). Finally I figured out it was for boys and that's DS1's name :)
Also loved the name Catherine. DD's middle name is Caterina, the Italian version- she's named after my Italian grandmother though, only recently remembered how much I used to love the name.

Freya, Siri and Gaia

Also Raksha Hmm

Haven't used them. I would still consider using Siri.
