I am trying to put together a craft box present for dd and am looking for a/some felting book(s) something easy to follow for the techniques ( merino tops, knitting, linen?) and something that has wide range of quick projects practical things like boxes, bags, flowers but also a book which has some more complicated but interesting projects that i could do. I have look at a couple they are either arty ie abastract hangings etc or bags, and dolls - no boxes, storage type things that children can use. does anyone have any recomendations.

no never felted before. i have an old crafting magazine which has step by step picture for a simple storage bag using merino tops to make felt squares and then sewn together and I spent about half an hour browsing the 3 books they had in borders. some techniques looked simple, other like the felting needle looked like it would take a bit to master.
