Can this be true?

I don't know the word but the power of certain minds? Is it real?

3 years ago I had a week's horrible unexpected hospital stay. I swelled up so much I took my engagement ring off (not my wedding ring).

When I came home I put it somewhere "safe" as I was still bloated and since then I haven't found it. I'm almost certain it was in the kitchen but to this day I haven't found it.

It's a beautiful ring, not massively expensive (cost £375 18 years ago). It was designed based on Monica's ring from Friends but opposite settings - emerald cut sapphire, with a small diamond either side on a white gold plain band.

Can anyone help me find it please? 🙈 I'm not spiritual but willing to try this ridiculous plea to being my lovely eing back to me.

Before you go to bed, tell yourself, "Tonight I will dream where I put it."

When you start to wake up, remember your dream.

It works for me.

I don't have a teapot but I do have a caddy of special tea bags that was gifted to me so I checked there as so many have suggested.

I'm shocked how many people have read it as three weeks and think maybe that's a spiritual thing too! 😂

I've given in and asked St Anthony (not Christoper!) As a very lapsed catholic it was on the bottom of the list of things to do but I've just done it.

Can't believe I made the daily round up email! 😬

I found mine after 4 years and a house move. It was in an antique cupboard I'd looked in several times, but it had lodged behind a vertical piece of wood at the front.. so when you opened it, it looked empty. One day I opened the cupboard to put something in and felt about and then my hand lighted on it. I can't tell you how amazing that felt. Keep looking!

This is what I'm wanting!!! 😬

Are you sure you didn’t leave it in the hospital?

Do you remember putting it back on your finger before you left the hospital?
Or do you think you kept it in your bag and then took it out when you got home?

I keep thinking it's in a pot of some kind, especially a teapot. Do you have a display of them anywhere? Or possibly a display of mugs? I also feel it's somewhere above head height.

In the freezer. You were scrabbling around trying to find the bag of peas and it came off your finger…

I lost a watch for about a year, and it only turned up when we had a total clean out of the car. It had slipped off my wrist and gone into the front door pocket, and then got hidden by the car service manual book. So glove compartment, door pockets and under seats in the car might be worth checking if you haven't already.

I found the diamond that had fallen from my engagement ring on the floor of my car when I swept it out to be sold. So glad I didn’t use a hoover!

Have you got a drawer in your living room? I think you got distracted moving it

You will have put it somewhere else. My aunt lost all her jewellery for years. More than a decade. She isn't really a jewellery wearer so couldn't place when she last had it and assumed there must have been a break in that they were never aware of. It meant she couldn't claim on insurance. Then she handed my Mum a load of old stuff from the attic to give to a charity shop my Mum supports. My Mum decided to clean everything first and found all the jewellery in a plastic bag inside the pram. It was a close call, but she got it all back.

My brothers ex gf flicked her hand in my mums house and her ring flew off in the hallway, they heard it ping on the wall, they had a quick look but it was in the wee hours and they didn’t want to wake everyone so they left it until the morning. They never did find that ring. Mum is sure that ex gf always suspected that she found and kept it as she kept asking and reiterating that it wasn’t valuable, just sentimental. Moved furniture, emptied hoover bag even though hadn’t hoovered! No ring - ever. That was 20years ago, new flooring laid since then, no ring. Weird.
Btw - yours, op, is in the bathroom cabinet, top shelf.

My mother in law found hers two years after losing it in a sugar bowl from a fancy set she only uses rarely. It had got put in when it was down being washed and stored then shoved up on the highest shelf out of sight.

Did you definitely bring it back from the hospital?

It may be worth contacting them to see if it was left (either on the ward - in which case they'd have locked it in the drugs cupboard when they found it waiting for someone to ring) or the laundry has stupid amounts of lost jewellery as it gets tangled up and the bed stripped so they don't know what ward (or even which hospital) it came from

Another here saying pray to St Anthony. Patron saint of lost things. You don't have to be religious but it works every time

Do you still have the clothes or bags you used for hospital stay ? Check all pockets. My DH found his watch in the inside zip compartment of a rucksack 3 years after moving house.

My mum found an amber necklace in the zip expander bit of her suitcase 2 years after the holiday she had worn it on.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news as I can't say it's definitely retrievable However I am getting a vision of a shelf edge next to a small container and it being on the very edge when someone possibly a man who wears his watch on right arm reached up for something and the ring fell into a void below it's hard to see if this is void is an open container or it's an appliance where it could have fallen behind. However it's a silvery or shimmery white colour, I'm only able to picture a very small part of it. But get the feeling it didn't make a noise as it landed so may have landed in a rubbish bag or even perhaps caught on the rear coils of an appliance. Hopefully the latter. I do also believe it may have been moved once from its original place before it fell perhaps in the same room or a adjoining room, not sure whether that helps you any. Hope you find it soon. But be aware on a spiritual level most physics wouldn't get exact image locations just flashes of what could have happened. Hence the often hazy descriptions.
