Mouse behind kitchen plinth. Only one little gap for it to get out of. Tried holding a bin over the gap every time it peeks its head out, but I know I wouldn't drop it in time (and will die trying). The gap is on the top of a 10cm or so plinth, so it has to climb over and drop down before it can run away.
Ideas to catch it and get it out of the house,
PLEASE?!
AIBU?

Can you lie the bin sideways on the floor (instead of upright or upside down) so the mouse runs straight into it when it drops onto the floor? Maybe put a tiny piece of cheese or bit of peanut butter or chocolate in the bin to tempt the mouse. Then when the mouse is in there, you could take it outside to release it into the garden, maybe?
