Ah now, I recognise that little bit and I don’t know that linked song at all. Moreover I don’t know anything from the last 30 years except the tracks that play on the workouts I do. So that narrows it down a bit.

Omg I am going to sleep fuming I can't remember the specific song!! If my insomnia strikes Im blaming you OP and I hope there's a resolution in the morning even if I know I'll be so annoyed with myself that I didn't work it out. I know OP's rendition of the melody is bang on.
