I really like her too but have to admit I was a bit disheartened about her comments when their children were young. In another world she would have been on mumsnet complaining about her DH being selfish leaving her to do all the grunt work! Disappointed in him more than her obviously but the fact she put up with it...she wasn't as stong as I thought she'd be.

I think she is amazing! She's such an inspiration.

I read her book, I really like her; she's smart, ambitious, kind and graceful.
She won't be potus though, she has no interest in it. She made that very clear in her book.

An absolute inspiration and so genuine. DD (27) and I watched it together - we are now both total fans. It's all about the people she's dealing with, not about herself, which makes her so special.

I watched this on Friday, wasn't going to as the description just says she's on her book tour, but after seeing it recommended on mn I thought I'd give it a try.

I now have a massive girl crush on Michelle 😁 and am constantly nagging my dd to watch it too.

Amazing woman ♥️

She’s so hardworking and inspirational. A brilliant role model for young girls. She’s so captivating that DH and I actually forgot about Barack Obama until he appeared about half way through.

She would make a great POTUS but has made it clear she doesn’t want that job.

As the programme approached the end I actually felt a bit tearful as I remembered all that is going on in the White House now. America is crying out for a mature and intelligent leader.

She oozes intelligence, dignity, respect. She has a moral compass. I love her.

I'm not one for reading auto biographies but hers is awesome. I couldn't put it down. I love her. It's such a shame she doesn't want to run as president.

She's great. I saw her in the O2. Truly amazing and inspiring.

I couldn't give a shit if she's gorgeous. She gained entrance to Princeton in 1984 as a black woman. That's enough for me.

Imagine if she were POTUS. She says she has no love of politics, but she really got stuck in as first lady. I think she is just what the US needs!

I love Michelle, I really do!
I cried the whole way through. Just in awe of the woman she is!

Rumour is she's being groomed to run for POTUS.

God that would be great. A bit of class is desperately needed in the White House.

I also didn't know that there was a doc, I must watch it.

I didn’t know there was a tv programme, I loved the book.

She’s just brilliant.

I don’t think she wants to run for president - thin she’s too honest for that.

Her book is fantastic, she comes across as a genuine and hard working woman who uses her position to encourage and push for change.

She is quite explicit about NOT wanting to run for POTUS though.

She’s gorgeous, intelligent and an inspiration

I love her but am very disappointed that her first trait you stated was "she's gorgeous"

Michelle Obama is a lot more things before being gorgeous.

The Obamas would be better off to follow the Jimmy Carter model.

I didn't think it was much good.
It didn't tell us much about her at all.

Rumour is she's being groomed to run for POTUS.

Just finished it - and actually said out loud “what a fucking legend” (and I don’t usually speak like Danny dyer).

Her book was great, took me through the height of the lockdown. So refreshingly honest in many ways.
But I know lots of crap went on behind the scenes too.
Anyway, Netflix night tomorrow!
