I think that she understands for the movie to have been successful Gaga and Cooper needed to have chemistry.

Its the same with the Oscar's performance, for it to be a breathtaking performance they needed to show that chemistry like in the film.

I'm sure she will understand this and be very supportive of him.

I know there is at least one famous woman who ‘adopted’ children as part of a couple but was only ever their mother on paper and didn’t have a relationship with either pre or post ‘split’. Third wife of the same apparently ‘auditioned’ for the role and had a bio child by contractual agreement that she would be treated as the child’s sole parent.

Lots of out gays are very commercially succesful...Elton, Ellen, Freddy Mercury etc.

Both Elton and Freddie were both 'married' to women/beards when they were not so successful or getting to be successful. Ellen's career in acting meant that she had to keep it quiet during her TV sitcom. When that finished, she then came out but has only been presenting since. People forget that. In Hollywood itself, (so not Elton or Freddie as singers of course) where films have to appeal to many countries, heterosexuality is still preferred. So so sad. Well done to Taron Egerton for coming out, star of the upcoming Rocket Man.

In answer to the OP, no, I don't feel sorry for her. She has a very good deal/contract with Bradley Cooper. I feel sorry that beards have to exist at all though.

Supposedly there are a huge amount of actors hiding their sexuality behind "beards" in Hollywood...

I do have to be honest and say I can see why they do it. If I know an actor is gay and playing straight in a film, I find it hard to accept any "chemistry" with a female lead.

people I genuinely don't know, on the cover of magazines and on the stage at awards ceremonies. Nah. Don't feel sorry for any of them. I genuinely can't relate to their circumstances.

PS: Melania Trump isn't really my cup of tea, she dresses well, but isn't pretty to me, nor does she have her own wealth. So that wasn't the great example for me.
