As someone whose middle name (after my much loved granny) is Mary, I would scream no to either version of this name. It just seems so old fashioned to me. But perhaps it’s due a comeback.

It is a French name. Maryvonne would be in her 70s now, from a working-class background.
Maryvonne and Yvonne are not due a comeback anytime soon. Please don't.

The way it sounds when I say it "Marravon" is nice but it looks pretty awful written down a problem with many names for example Olivia looks lovely written down but sounds not so nice spoken.

It's a mash up of 2 names, and doesn't work.
