To ask what this actually means?!

Apart from the fact that it's obviously disgustingly racist (and my uncle has just been swiftly deleted off Facebook for sharing it)... I don't get the point that they're trying to make?!

The picture with the text are utterly vile racist bile. Your uncle doesn't want his country taken over by immigrants. I'd like to see the comments under the actual cartoon. Well done for blocking, OP.

It’s absolutely racist! The text at the bottom confirms it! It’s saying that if abortion is legal, all the white women will abort their babies and the only babies born will be to women of colour, so white people will become a minority and the country will be overrun with other ethnicities. Someone please explain why they think that’s not racist?!?

LemonysSnicket · 26/05/2018 13:12

It means that we're supposedly going to be over run by non whites as all the white people get abortions (less white babies) and all the non-whites have lots of children ( more brown babies).

Basically the whole racist rhetoric of 'England's going to be sharia soon'

EmpressOfSpartacus · 26/05/2018 21:29

Shit, I missed the text at the bottom. Yes, that is racist.

Hamandcheesebaguette · 26/05/2018 21:37

See that's what I initially thought it meant, but then I thought there is no way that somebody woukd actually believe and post such a vile thing... so thought maybe I had misunderstood and whilst still aware it was racist I wasn't sure I was right that it was THAT awful (of course all racism is awful but hopefully you see what I mean)

I would take it that they are saying that the 'wrong' people are having babies. I remember a few years ago a doctor was talking on the radio about falling birth rates, and he said women are having babies, but it's the wrong women. Birth rates were up amongst teen unmarried mum's, while for mature, married, middle class women they were down. This cartoon reminds me of that.
