TheFullMrexit oddly enough he doesn't float my boat at all. Hard to sum my perfect "type" actually. Perhaps a weird hybrid of Littlefinger from Game of Thrones, Steve Coogan past his sell by and Mark Bonnar, with a tendency to cry at adverts thrown into the mix.

I've had things for bastards in the past but not of the same mould as described by a PP.

For one thing (and I have no idea why this is, how odd it is or indeed whether it's odd at all) I am virtually never attracted to men more than about 5'9 in height (same height as me). I have no idea why, I just find tall men less inherently sexual. Same tends to go for men below about 5'5 though so maybe it's a question of difference in height/scale from me being the turn-off?

Secretsquirrel252 I don't think I said I was looking for someone who looks intimidating to others, I just reported that clearly some men clearly found this particular partner intimidating - I can't help their reaction obviously.

But as others too have said there is this element of hoping that in a particular situation that actually warranted it, they could physically take care of a situation. That's different to wanting someone who intimidates others just by walking down a street minding their own business - in fact I don't want someone like that who invokes that reaction without doing anything nor do I want someone who goes out of their way to be intimidating on purpose either!

Not just you. I've always gone for nice men. Not lentil weavers, just nice men. Even married one.

I don't know if it's innate or if, as a late developer, I was conditioned by spending most of my late teens mopping up friends who had had their hearts broken by the bastards and decided "not for me, thanks".
