Just started watching 3 films and I couldn't get into any of them.

Too many box sets to choose from, don't watch much tv but have a cold and sinusitis so have no plans all weekend, including Monday.

Nothing to dark or too sad, I cannot cope with more snot!

I've been watching Frequency which is a bit crappy but easy watching. I'd suggest Daredevil but that's dark as fuck and pretty gory. That said I'm not a good barometer I was watching the 'Autopsy' series and TRON: Legacy once a week before xmas.

Travellers is great, the crown is great. Also look for a series called the 3% which is Brazilian-Portuguese with English subtitles but is fucking awesome

In fact, I seem to be alternating between films I've seen before and new ones. Right now binge watching dramas.
