Eaten pink sausage, will I die?

Here for traffic

Just eaten a sausage sandwich two with square sausage by Heck in, realised over half way though the 2nd half of the 2nd that it's pink in the middle... will I be ok? I know it's not ideal but is eating pink pork a given for food poisoning? If relevant I'm not usually too bothered by use by dates and have never had any problems so potentially have an iron stomach...

Doughnuts they do some chicken ones but not all of their products are chicken based. It was these - www.heckfood.co.uk/product/fair-and-square-97-sausages
Would highly recommend. Fit perfectly between two small slices of bread

I used to eat raw sausages as a kid (in the 70s). Never had any problems.

It's tapeworm and trychinosis you get from raw pork!

Don't worry OP, you'll probably just end up with a brain tapeworm...

My Great Aunt used to eat raw sausage all the time. Mind you, she also drank a lot of brandy so maybe that killed anything off...

I also saw on TV that you can eat pork pink these days as they have got rid of the bad bacteria through breeding. You're fine I reckon.

You will die, but not because of this, and hopefully not for many, many years. In the interim cook your food properly.

I was dared to eat a raw sausage as a child. No ill effects whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend it. Never been keen on them since.

No. I don't think so, but. Your shit will probably start erupting like a volcano within the next 24 hours. Sorry.

You might but you probably won't. How long ago was this? You might get the shits but probably not.

I'm done cooking. No wine in the house (was out drinking with work) but I did find a bottle of cider from xmas which I've put in the freezer to get cold quick. Preferably before I fall asleep and die of sausage poisoning and then it explodes

Ooh thank you!

Customary has some good advice though - another glass of wine might counteract any germs, hurry!
