Gutted. Not that it really matters to me personally of course i am just very sad that Trump won...not that the republicans won. Any other candidates and i probably wouldnt have paid any attention. I have been watching this with mounting disbelief everytime he opens his mouth and every time i see that his highly qualified female opponent damned for being just as bad as him with no evidence. Trump is a racist, sexist, xenophobic lunatic. He has no policies to speak of, aside from the insane variety (building a wall that Mexico will pay for, banning Muslims from entering the US, etc.). He's a loose cannon who can't even be trusted with a Twitter account. OTOH, Clinton has a proven record of public service. Her plans and policies are thoroughly researched and reasonable. I personally disagree with some of her positions but I agree with enough of them to have felt fully confident about voting for her. She is an intelligent, clear-sighted politician who can work with people of all political stripes. As I've said before, these two candidates barely inhabit the same planet.
