My current crush is a bloke who knows he's good looking and is proud of it. He's really encouraged me to become more confident and make the best of myself - resulting in a massive increase in the past few months in my quality of life. Am I being unreasonable.?

Why would that be unreasonable? I don't understand the question

Cinderella - I suppose because I've been told to avoid good looking men for x, y and z reason - and also men (and some women) like this are sometimes given a badk press I suppose.

Surely him being good looking is neither here nor there? Or are you trying to say you're surprised you've met someone who isn't an arrogant arsehole?

A massive increase in your quality of life sounds great. And an exceptionally good looking man.
Tis your duty to enjoy it. Lucky you.
Have fun Smile

Not sure where you're going with this?

So far we've got:

  1. Bloke is good looking
  2. He knows he is good looking, yet isn't arrogant about it
  3. He makes you happy.

Sounds good! Keep it up :)

Increased self esteem is a good thing isn't it?

When you say he's good looking and proud of it I presume you don't mean in a vain as a peacock, Gaston for Beauty and the Beast kind of way? Cos people like that are dull.

That's it! Finally met someone who's not an arrogant arsehole!!

  1. Bloke is good looking
  2. He knows he's good looking and knows women are attracted to him.
  3. Inspired me to get down to 8st. = my holy grail!!

Hmm, depends - if that's a healthy weight for you (BMI >18.5) then good on you. However, whatever you're doing make sure it's FOR YOU and not simply to please or fit in with him.

Yes Hedgehog - at 8st my BMI is actually 21.

I think it's really dependent on how he encouraged you? Was it to make yourself more "pleasing" to him?

Report
WoburnSands · 16/08/2016 13:50

No Thefitfatty - he just inspired me to make me more pleasing to myself!
