I. Am. Tired.

Utterly Exhausted. Knackered. Hanging. Weary.

I am more tired than everyone.

Please give me sympathy and understanding and a little bit of competitive tiredness wouldn't be inappropriate.

Brew

I'm knackered. I have a ovarian dermoid cyst that hurts, a DH with a broken foot that means he can't help out in the house and a co-sleeping 3 year old who isn't sleeping and will, for example, go to sleep at 11pm, wake at 2am and stay awake until 4am, wake again just after 6am then again at 8am. I then have to get up and go to work.

I feel like I've not stopped for two weeks. And unfortunately that two weeks started with being in A&E with DH until 3am.

I can't compete with most of these but I'll join in anyway. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and absolutely exhausted have also got a 2 year old who thankfully does sleep but when she's not asleep she is full on as only a 2 year old can be! I have just had an afternoon nap though while dh and DD did some gardening. I don't feel any better which is a but frustrating!

Can't drink coffee as it upsets my stomach at the moment but Brew to you all hope you all get some lovely sleep soon

DS1 hasn't slept in the entire 4 years he's been on this planet. I've had insomnia for 10 years prior to that. That's 14 years of shit sleep. Plus I have fibro (I couldn't get a condition that made me have MORE energy, oh no). So I'm tireder than everyone. In the world. So there.

I actually had a half decent night's sleep for a change (4mo DS usually puts paid to that) and I haven't done anything particularly strenuous today.

I AM STILL TIRED. Tireder than all of you put together. So ner. 😴

Can I snuggle down under a blanket with you OP? I have a toddler who is my little shadow and consistently gets up at 5.20am then clambers all over me the whole day long. The days he's in nursery I have a 1hr 20 min commute to work so leave home at the crack of dawn. I'm also 14 weeks pregnant and not over the 'please let me sleep all day' phase yet.

Last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 9, had my one lie in on the week until 7.30 and have just had a nap for an hour. Is it bedtime yet?

I gained the superpower of being able to sleep anywhere, at any time, for any length of time.

You will too when you reach the stage where you were as tired as I was.

Tbf I hate it when people do the competitive tiredness thing (when they're being serious) a friend of mine tells people that don't have children that they can't possibly be tired (doesn't take into account illness, work schedule, disabled family to look after etc etc) makes her sound like a knob. I have vowed I won't become one of those parents.

LOL you have no idea.

3 week old DD feeding around the clock and toddler awake from 5:45.

Today I'm tired.

My 7 year old still wakes in the night...
he knows it isn't time to get up so leaves me alone though
My 10 month old doesn't sleep. At all.
My 2 year old is very clever and likes her sleep.

DH is night shift this week. DS has had a virus all week so been up multiple times every night. Yesterday I dropped DS at DM's so DH could rest while I worked a long shift. Got home & DH left immediately to go to work. House a fucking shit tip mess, dirty dishes & lego everywhere, bins overflowing. DH hadn't bothered to give DS dinner so sorted that, put him to bed. Cleaned kitchen & living room. Thought I'd leave the rest for today. Got into bed knackered & DS woke up with projectile D&V, most unwell he's ever been, so horrible. DH home early hours, slept in spare room while I shared with ill & unhappy toddler. DS woke up before 7am, put laundry on (lots of it because of last night's escapades) & we are up & out of the house so DH has quiet to sleep. Oh & in laws are coming over later. Do I win?
