It's very reminiscent of Hunting Lodges, isn't it?

Most people I know are very anti shooting animals for sport, so I guess I thought most of the population would think along the sane lines, don't think my peer group is unrepresentative of the masses.

So the current trend for trophy decor baffles me.

Whole animals, yeah fine, dismembered, not so much.

What has always perturbed me is that the Stags always look very calm. If the last thing I saw on this earth was a bullet hurtling towards me, my expression would veer more towards the terrified.

I used to tell children at the museum I used to work at that the stag had run through the wall and the rest of him was in the next room. Without fail they all went to look silly we buggers
