What about the woman who's husband was secretly recording her via an app on her phone? Think she was called daisy something?

Cheers all, have just finished reading it (am also working - I'm really not a slow reader!). The screen also went a bit blurry around the Christmas Day posts Absolutely fantastic thread - glad it's in Classics Smile

I have been wondering about the people whose neighbors paved their driveway (OP's) in order to make neighbor's driveway and parking area appear larger.

No, wasn't earrings but was absolutely lovely present. You need to read it. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_classics/a2534156-To-feel-slightly-put-out-by-DHs-lovely-surprise

It was a necklace which was engraved so that her dad would always be close to her heart, it was from her dh's family, it was so lovely!

Surly it was for her. It was, iirc, earrings from her DH's family accompanied by a lovely note saying how much they loved her and that the recognised what a rotten year she'd had (I think her DDad died).

The jewellery one I think went into classics. It was for her and the story made me bawl. One sec.

Please does anyone know what happened with the OP who found the Tiffany box in her DP's coat pocket the morning they were travelling to stay with family for Christmas? That thread seems to have gone poof.

I'm hoping that the jewellery was for her, but I'm guessing by the thread vanishing that they weren't Sad

I want to know about the woman who was given a stick like a child or a dog would pick up when walking in the woods wand as a leaving present from work and it was claimed that it had cost all of the £100+ that was collected from her colleagues for her present.

Was the real gift or was it a joke. Had someone pulled a fast one somewhere?

So Anchor - did you go to the pub for Christmas, or did you spend it with your not-quite-sure-if-he's-a-DP-or-not?

I'd love to know about the self-invitees too - although I still think it had the potential to be a wind-up by the FIL.

I HATE these threads that ask about all the old ones because I'm too nosy not to want to know what has happened!
