Lets face it,
this idiot is so egotistical, so mega-rich and so up his own arse, that he probably couldn't care less what we think about him.
This is why I think talks of banning him is bordering on being ridiculous.
Banning him wouldn't impact on his life one iota.

Anyway, a normal person would feel ashamed to be banned from a country.
He's not normal.
He would probably see it as a badge of honor. Hmm

he doesn't believe in Climate Change so you could send him to one of the islands that will sink beneath the rising waves.

Well since he's pissed off a fair chunk of the planet already, I'd say his options are shrinking on a daily basis.

But if you don't take him where can we send him? Please take him....

Actually if we banned him he wouldnt be able to go to his precious golf course with his cronies in Scotland which in spite of Cameron is still part of the UK. So just on the point of annoying him its worthwhile banning him and if by some freak of nature (American Voting System) he gets to be president that would be great as we could watch Cameron squirming around why we should let him in and stand shoulder to shoulder with him. Personally Ive no confidence in him or the American voting system anymore than I do ours, so lets just ban him to be on the safe side. What's most concerning about all of this is the Anti Muslim attitudes gaining credibility it is one of the most disturbing issues of this century and totally unwarranted it smacks of the same attitude of the 30s and Jewish persecution in Europe blaming a race for global depression.

Will it be a segregated golf course?

It's certainly causing an outbreak of hypocrisy in the SNP - only a couple of years since they overrode local planners to allow his golf resort in Aberdeen to be built, now they don't want him to be allowed there.

The whole thing is stupid.

If you talk to people who support radical-right (or radical-left) views, the one thing they will all say at some point is something about:

"They are the only people who are telling us the truth"
"There is a cover-up by the mainstream media"
"They are just saying what all the regular politicians KNOW but don't have the guts to say out loud"

etc. etc.

Every single time you try to shut down the voices of radical right figures, all you do is confirm the worldview of their supporters, that "the media is biased against us and that's the only reason why our views have not prevailed."

Let's say DT wants to come to the UK and spout his stupid views. You know what I say? I say, fine, go ahead. Please do come. Come and walk around London, with lots of media people filming you, and look like a complete plonker as it slowly becomes obvious that your statements about London mostly bollocks. Come and talk on some news programs and have your views challenged and dissected.

As the saying goes "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a prat of himself."

I see the petition is over a half million now. I understand that while it is still open for signature for the next six months in theory, in practice there will be a meeting of the relevant Commons Committee about January 5th, which will now be required to consider the petition, in view of the number of signatures and decide whether to hold a debate on the resolution. In the meantime signatures continue to be added at a rate that looks like several dozen a minute.

Will it get to a million by the 5th Jan do you think?

Op - you are correct- he doesn't care. But I signed the position anyway. I am of Yank origin. It's hard to know what to do- give him air time, he loves it, even the criticism. He's like The Japanese Knotwood of politics, everything makes him stronger. Maybe if we sit tight and let him carry on the democrats will win all fifty states though.

Trump isn't going to get elected, because he won't get the support of big businesses. There is no way they will support someone who will single-handedly destroy their market in Muslim countries and cause their business interests in those countries to be closed down.

It's not unusual for Europeans to be antifascist, given our history.

After the disposal of Mussolini and Hitler, America only cosied up to Franco because he provided facilities for weapons on the Med, and was staunchly anti-communist.

Here is Conservative Zac Goldsmith on Trump, the most popular candidate among Republican voters

"London mayoral candidate Zac Goldsmith described US presidential candidate Donald Trump as "repellent" and said it was time US people realise he is "one of the most malignant figures in modern politics".

If Trump wins, a lot of the political class will be eating humble pie when they are interviewed next to him on a podium.

"respected columnist Katie Hopkins "

I didn't realiser there were two with the same name.

Report
claig · 10/12/2015 13:37

If Katie plays her cards right, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump flies her over to the States on a private jet to clue him up on what is going on in Britain. I am sure that Trump studies the Daily Mail, as I do myself. In fact I heard Lew Rockwell, the famous American libertarian, say the other day that the Daily Mail was his favourite newspaper.

I said the world would change and that the phony conservatives and Etonians are on a downward slope, and what I said seems to be coming true and Trump is leading it and Katie Hopkins could well be part of it if she plays her cards right.
