Am I being unreasonable?
Boots have discontinued the blusher that I have used for years without warning. In fact they have discontinued all their blushers and replaced them with some horrible new ones.
I realise that in the greater scheme of things that this has minuscule importance but it is disproportionately annoying me. I even complained to a sales assistant (who agreed with me!) and I don't even wear make- up often!
AIBU to expect them to keep my favourite blusher colour alive?

There's a website somewhere that matches discontinued make up shades - best business idea ever!

OP bourjois do beautiful blushers at a similar price point but i understand your frustration. Write and ask if they can sell you any of their leftover stock!

I went to buy some concealer and they've changed all the names and there are no numbers so I've no idea which is comparable to my old shade!

On the same thread, does anyone remember the Body Shop's Japanese Musk Oil?

YANBU. I used it for years and the new stuff is hideous.

I bet the reason is you try several products to find a replacement, therefore spending more money.

I had an amazing lipstick from the body shop, the coloyr really suited me. The range has been changed and there is nothing similarAngry

It seems to happen a lot. I don't know if some companies feel they have to constantly innovate and old products are rubbish (even if they sell well) or they have problems obtaining ingredients or they just treat their customers with contempt! I am a fan of the Beauty Bible series and it is quite astonishing how often a product gets really good reviews after being tested by their panel, appears in the book with a great write-up and promptly gets discontinued or reformulated by its manufacturer.

YANBU. Maybe someone on here works in the cosmetics industry and can explain...
