So this year they won't come in a pack of 6 but instead 5! Wtf! And they say this is due to consumer demand...

I don't think Mondelez (crap name BTW) will lose much by these changes, as they ought.
The thing about the Cadbury brand is that it is sold everywhere, in every corner shop, cafe, newsagent etc. It's an impulse buy that is always available when someone needs a sugar hit or their child cries for a sweet.
If you want something better your have to go out of your way to find it.

So by all means protest about the loss of real Cadburys, but Mondocrap won't be bothered.

They have messed with it and wrecked it.

I get sad about it as my dgrandad was involved in the original process and invented the means by which the filling was put in the eggs. He worked for cadbury for 50 years as did other family members. Cadbury was a big family to me growing up and the buggers at kraft ruined it.

I was in Morrisons yesterday and pretty much every Cadburys product was on some kind of offer, mostly half price trying to shift the stuff so here's hoping sales are going down.
Mini Eggs are vile now! I wasn't even bothered when my husband ate them all. We had a tub roses at Xmas, they all tasted of coffee - binned!

They'll only act if sales are affected. I bet at the moment sales are as good as ever as people want to try one and see what the fuss is about. If sales suffer then they might relaunch it. I won't be buying one anymore, or any other Cadbury product.

I emailed them yesterday just to add my tiny voice to the rebellion.

I asked them to re launch the product as "famous, classic and original" recipe".

They can have my great idea and advertising tag line for free as well!

Quite sad really. I always buy a lot of these and this year I simply will not.

Eww. They taste like shit. Why would you even spend your money on something you can create in the toilet for free?

Ahh that reminds me of the milk tray ad - and all because the lady loved Milk Tray...

Anyone on here under the age of 35 who likes strawberry cremes would have loved the Hella bar

Does anyone remember Hella chocolate bars. They had a strawberry filling and were around in the mid to late 80s but not for very long unfortunately. In the TV advert there was a bloke dressed as the devil.

They were lovely and i saw on another forum that you could also get a mint one. But i only ever had the strawberry. My dad used to buy them and we used to share them. They were fairly big bars.

I'd rather get dd a mini Lindt bunny as a treat when we are out.

If Lindt did a bunny that was filled like their little ball chocolates I'd be in heaven.

Ds bought me two creme eggs at the weekend so I can say from experience they are definitely NOT the same but the weird thing is it was the 'creme' bit that tasted different to me, not the 'shell'.

I know it's weird stuff anyway but I really liked it in small doses - now it tastes really chemical-y and leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

Have you seen their Facebook and Twitter? I've yet to see a positive comment on there

Is it all some kind of bizarre marketing ploy? Surely there can't be any other explanation for this?

I still remember how lovely Cadburys chocolate tasted in the 80s Loved when Dairy Milk used to come wrapped in shiny purple foil with dark purple paper wrapped around it.

Kraft's fault. Cadbury's was great before American company Kraft took over ENGLISH Cadbury's! I am disgusted too

If it isn't broken then don't fix it, hate it when a popular product gets messed around with. Even worse renamed.

Sorry to go off on a tangent but does anyone think Thorntons is shite now too? Or maybe it's just those huge, oversized, mass produced boxes they do at Christmas time. We have a box sitting virtually untouched Confused can't bloody give them away!

Hmm, good point, Sallyingforth.

I've never tried Aldi chocolate (there is no Aldi where I live), but I agree about Lidl, it's nice. Especially the chocolate and almond bars, my personal favourite!
