AIBU?

My bloody neighbour!

My neighbour is one if those who constantly buy new gadgets.

A couple of weeks ago he came home with a little helicopter thing with a camera on it.

He's constantly flying it over our gardens and filming us! He casually mentioned things that he has seen in my and my neighbours gardens.

I feel like taking it off him and smashing it. I love the privacy of my garden and I feel like he's being a selfish git.

Myself and my neighbours have told him to stop flying over our properties but he insists he's allowed as we down own the airspace Hmm

Aibu to stick it up his arse?

I recommend he takes up bird watching and combines it with his new toy. The combined rage of the local birders will soon stop his pervy camera based japes.

He is a tit. Those "horrible looks" ought to be directed at him, the law-breaking, nosy, un-neighourly git.

I don't know if he's flown it again because I've been in work.

He's taken to giving me horrible looks the tit.

He's been spoken too by the pcso and he's agreed to not to fly it over our gardens and not near houses?

That's not good enough. It's illegal to fly the thing in a built-up area, because of the danger to people and property if/when it goes out of control. If he flies it at all you should make a formal complaint to the police, quoting the Air Navigation Order.

RubbishRobot, I like your headline better than the incredibly dull "Man held over drone flight at Manchester City stadium"

Couldn't they at least have attempted "City peeper grounded"? Or "Fan Done for Drone"?

Or take up flying a drone yourself and get your own back on him?

Or alternativelymake cool drone videos as showcased upthread, or like this one

"His wife is lovely and I think she's at the end of her tether with him."
I would discuss all your concerns with her then. Give her more ammunition.

We are not allowed to put our bins out on the road or pavement if we have a drive or garden. We can be fined for blocking the pavement. So he can be reported for this.

I never thought of doing that. He used to be so nice and normal Confused

He's been pissing about with a scrapper car that arrived yesterday all morning revving the engine and being annoying Hmm

I hope this isn't the start if things to come.

Come on OP. Have you reported it to police yet?

What that guy is doing is illegal and dangerous. Imagine if he loses control of the drone and it crashes into a window.

Any update OP? I second driving into his bins at night and scattering them across his road frontage. Imagine you're in a 70's cop show.
