Baby pics on FB

AIBU a friend mentioned to me the other day about how great it will be to put cute baby pics on fb once i have had a baby, but i turned around and said i wont be because it is wrong on so many levels IMHO and i (think) i would be too busy caring for baby doing the laundry for baby sterilising bottles etc to even sit down and finish an entire hot drink and watch 30 mins of tv if i did have spare time it would mean something needed doing and i wasnt doing it, plus i don't know what my facebook friends do in there spare time or what goes through their minds (if it was that easy to detect a pedo they wouldn't exist) even though my entire FB is privatised and i don't allow followers of people to find me in search engines someone could still hack my account for the heck of it and see pics of my PFB AIBU i'd rather keep my children off facebook and the internet until it their own choice whether or not they want to become a part of that at 16.

Well you'd better not be eating any "ready to eat" washed salad leaves then OP because they're washed in, guess what, BLEACH.

Bean89 · 11/05/2014 21:15

Does OP realise you don't bleach clothes with toilet duck?

Report
Pipbin · 11/05/2014 20:37

I think OP has been watching this:

OT, but bleach baths are excellent for people with eczema. It's 1/4C bleach per full bathtub.

I interview them and insist on a recent CRB. I have trained the more wily of our cats to chaperone them at all times. You can never be too careful.

Pipbin · 11/05/2014 20:21

You allow visitors? How do you know they aren't paedos?

Report
mindthegap79 · 11/05/2014 20:16

I soak myself, my dd and my dh in a bath filled Milton every evening. Sometimes the cats join us too.

And visitors have to sterilise their feet upon entering the house.

Dress my baby in white rather than my nipples, that is. My nipples wear a fetching gamboge.

Report
PterodactylTeaParty · 11/05/2014 19:46

I dress mine in white so the baby sick won't show up. Less laundry, more Facebook!

(seriously though OP - don't go into motherhood thinking that you have to be doing stuff 24/7 and never giving yourself a break. The baby will not be watching you with a beady, judgemental eye and deducting points every time you finish a hot drink. Maybe spend more time listening to those who've got kids already, less time implying you're a superior parent before yours is even born?)

Pipbin · 11/05/2014 19:41

I do hope you breast feeding ladies bleached your nipples and did all your breast feeding in a darkned room with no windows or internet lest a peado might see you through the window or internet.
You'll know if one is near by as they smell of hammers. They share DNA with crabs too.

I hated a steam steriliser, really frustrated me having to wait for the bottles to cool down and having such a restricted time to use them. I gave up and went with a big pot of Milton, was so easy!

Again though, I was a lazy bitch who cba with formula and sterilising, so bf for as long as I could once I had bleached my nipples first

Ilovexmastime · 11/05/2014 18:29

I breastfed rather than have to use bleach on something my baby would be drinking out off.

not really, I was just too lazy to use bottles

Errol Brown from Hot Chocolate, but I expect you are too young.

Worry about how to clean baby bottles when you have a baby to clean bottles for.

I have no babies so I don't know about steam sterilisers but I think that I could work out that they use steam.

i wouldn't clean something i was going to drink out of bleach let alone a baby
I wouldn't clean a baby with bleach. That much I do know.

Well going against the tide here I think OP sounds fairly switched on and sensible.

Report
Pipbin · 11/05/2014 00:32

I just love how the op picks up someone on spelling in a sentence that runs to several lines without a single full stop or capital letter.
My class of 5 year olds know to use full stops.
