To not understand how you can be with someone who "can't kiss"

Because I hear a lot of people saying "my DH can't kiss", and I find it really odd that there are people out there who are in a relationship with someone they don't enjoy kissing.

My DH is a wet kisser and it makes me feel quite ill, therefore we don't do open-mouth kissing (or at least VERY occasionally). We still kiss and do long closed-mouth kissing. I know he misses it but I just can't do it. Tongues make me want to retch :( bad wife

I definitely couldn't be with a bad kisser or a non kisser. Wouldn't bother pursuing a second date with someone whose kisses didn't make me melt.

Dolly and Freckle, it does have to be while dtd, not just on its own, that would be even more weird!

I miss the old days when we would just sit and kiss for hours like teenagers. Now we do still do it, but it's usually just a short one or it leads to more. Just kissing for the fun of it is brilliant.

My husband accidentally clinked my teeth last night while dtd. Unfortunately it only made me cringe.

I don't think I would bother getting into a relationship with a bad kisser.

Currently seeing someone who makes me keel over from kissing, its marvellous.

If someone was a bad kisser it would be so off putting we wouldn't get any further, tbh.

Kissing during sex is wonderful. I wouldn't want to do without it.

But try and massage me and I'll chop yer hands off.

I'm shocked by the amount of bad kissing dh.
If my dh had been a bad kisser, I wouldn't have ever met him again.

Aaargh, nooo! Back tickling! The thought of it makes me want to flay off my skin! Grin
I can't relax either Bertie, and could hate anyone to touch my feet!
Some strange correlation maybe?

I love kissing, find it a huge turn on and would be very unhappy to live without it.

I prefer non tongue action kissing, just entirely lips. Much sexier

Love massage, being stroked etc. Take a foot and head
massage or back tickle over sex any day.

i dont think i could be with a bad kisser.. as in.. it wouldnt have the chance to get to know the other great t hings about them so wouldnt get to that stage iygwim ...unless there we where friends allready.

which may be bad.. but kissing is important to me, its a form of connection and imo you can share so much emotion in the kiss.

my ex was an amazing kisser... the world and my problems disapeared when we kissed. days dreams of ex emotion..

*may not be fully over my ex.. though im sure when im old and wrinkly he will still be the one who got away and has a perment place in my heart.

ThenWhen, I only had that in relationships where the guy was a knob who thought about sex constantly. Although, TBH, if DH wants to persuade me when I'm on the fence about sex, a decent kiss gets me right there.

A foot rub, to me, sounds awful. I get nervous and ticklish when someone touches my feet and it feels gross. I can't cope with any kind of massage actually, they just make me laugh Hmm I am predisposed to not like relaxing, apparently!

We don't kiss. Haven't for many years. Seems more like something you do when first together, something intimate but when you don't want to move to a full sexual relationship yet. It just seems a bit pointless. You can have sex without kissing. The positions we prefer, it's not really possible anyway

Maybe it would be different with a different partner.

My DP (and myself really) has very full sensual lips and is never too soggy! He's THE most incredible kisser/foreplayer ever and kisses for aaaages whilst stroking my hair/back etc. Even after 10 years I still go weak and dizzy when he kisses me - in fact I always tell him he kisses like they do in the best romantic movies Blush... Fortunately he's also very accomplished in all other areas Grin

Slightly off topic but harking back to the 'I come when we clink teeth' and 'I once had an orgasm in my lips' I had athletes foot once and took my shoes off to scratch it after a whole day of itchy toes and I came. Biggest shock of my life. I just sat there for a bit, stunned and thinking, what the hell just happened.

I've shared too much haven't I?

Couldn't do without kissing, think about snogging dp all day (amongst other things). If I didn't like kissing I'd actually have to do some work!

I love kissing. My dh can take it or leave it and tbh he is not the best kisser I have ever had. We have good sex but sometimes I do long for an amazing kiss.

A good kiss is so incredibly erotic. A bad kisser never gets beyond a kiss with me.

The worst kissers either sort of put their dry slightly open mouth against yours and do that thing fish do
OR
They kind of ignore your lips and just stick their tongue right in and swirl it round and round like a washing machine!
Kissing technique is about coming in gently, finding the persons lips with your lips (it's hard to be an amazing snog with no lips unfortunately), moving them gently accross the other, teasing them open a little, pressing a little firmer, hands in the hair, a little tongue exploration, (but not darting in and out like a minnow). Then getting hot and heavy (a deep kiss)..
A great first kiss is about finally getting intimate with the person you fancy, and it is really intimate, which is what is sexy about it.
I once had a kind of orgasm in my lips from kissing. It was so weird; my lips starting tingling and fizzing! You have so many nerve endings in your lips, so that's why kissing is often a prelude to sex.
What I always found sad in relationships though, is that kissing often =sex, when sometimes you might want a kiss, but not have decided yet if you want to go further, but you are put off getting into a kiss because of the expectation (on a man's part).

Ah. I see.

That actually sounds really alarming to me. Grin I would feel far too exposed to participate in something like that. I recoiled from the screen just reading it!

When my husband kisses me (chastely and briefly of course Grin ) I start to laugh. Every time.

I prefer a good long foot rub. Grin

i should caveat that DH is 'on the spectrum' and is weird about this kind of thing. it is something which has to be empathetic i think, it is all to do with syncing with someone. So if you have issues around that, then i doubt it will feel natural to you. Once it is fluid and natural then it's a stiff, rigid, unpleasant kiss. I'd rather have no kiss than a bad one i'm afraid.

Hi iseeyou, i mean deep as in you are both lost in it. you both close your eyes and get swept away, you are moving in perfect symmetry getting slighter deeper (not tongue right down your throat tho) and lighter in synchronism, reading each other perfectly and having that feeling of total intoxication so that when you do both stop, you feel a little wobbly, disoriented and slightly drunk.
