I would like a poet with floppy hair, but a builder's body. I want him to be of course single - but a single parent would be lovely, with a lovely teenage boy for my daughter.

My daughter is not so optimistic...'It will be two ugly old men, mum. You know our luck.'

I can dream. Romance without effort. No travel. Convenient.

It's almost as interesting thinking about incoming neighbors as being the new one yourself.
Our old NDNs were OK, I was hoping for more fun. Our current ones are Chinese (not surprisingly) and ATM have four four metro tall sticks of sugar cane threatening to fall on me every time I open my front door.

I live in a cul-de-sac of seven houses and three have been up for sale recently, two sold SST so long as thye dont find out about the loopy neighbour in the last week. I really do hope we get some friendly families. We have a couple of friendly neighbours but also some retired ones, they are what I would call family houses so have been surprised there aren't many children here

I'm about to move, and hoping to find a lovely selection of bohemian types, lots of interesting yet happy families, like in one of those 'everyone is differen' books, except everyone is an artist or whatever and we can pop in and out of houses and have board game nights and learn how to cook world dishes etc

Someone I vaguely know has just had to leave the street due to terribke neighbours taking against her, so I'm possibly being optimistic, but it is near a university and a fairly multicultural area, so possibly...
