... half filled tube/tub of Pringles, nuts, Cheddars, Twigletts and all the other non food-poisoning debris left over from the festive season to put them out of temptation's way for the rest of the week/month? The only thing left is the honey-roast nuts but they can't count because they've not yet been opened. Does that make sense?

My Dh devours all those left over bits it helps keep me slim and away from temptation. Grin Although he complained he's gaining weight last weekend so he may have figured out my keep slim plan.

Yanbu! It's exactly what I would be doing if we had anything left.

Calories don't count over Christmas anyway, that's why everyone goes on a health kick in January!

I've put on 7 lbs,and all the hard and chewy stuff has made my poor teeth hurt.

But just one last push, and I will be victorious..

I'm nearly through it all.

Dirty job,but someone's got to do it.

I'm going to do a quick stealth boast - I finished off all mine and have still lost 7pounds over Xmas. Do it! Grin

Port goes off?

Oh heck, better start drinking that too then, as well as the Baileys...

I've got mountains of chocolate biscuits but I seem to have lost my sweet tooth lately. I 've being taken a couple every day to try and get rid of them. The dc's don't seem interested either.

DH is away tonight and I'll be scoffing tidying up all the leftover crisps/dips/cheese/Xmas chocs for my tea. I won't enjoy it but its my duty to the family Wink

I am doing this with the left over booze from my NYE party. There is a lot to get through. :)

Done! And tomorrow we finish off the clementines all day to compensate, ok? Actually the tubs were probably only just over a quarter full if I really think about it ... Hmm

I'll take the cashews of your hands. I love them.

Just the opposite here - dds are 13 and 14 and I grossly underestimated how chuffing calorie-aware they would be this Christmas, so the responsibility fell entirely my way. Unlikely to want to share anything with DH, so no joy there Grin. Startail, the honey-roast cashews are still going begging if you're interested ..... sort of savory!

Eat them or share them with your DP over a glass of something when the DCs are in bed.

Unfortunately I have a 14 to DD who hovers up stray nuts and an 11 who munches spare crisps so pickings here are sparse. Mainly biscuits and a couple of old mince pies.

Grr I prefer the savoury stuff.

YANBU, am adopting the same strategy also with the alcohol.

From Monday we won't be able to get away with such levels of consumption, for Monday is officially when Real Life resumes.

My Weight Watchers meeting didn't even run this week, which means anything consumed this week doesn't count and/or contains zero calories probably but please don't quote me.

You owe to everyone else in your family to do this - make it your mission. Then come to mine to do the same so i don't go to my weigh in at diet club on Friday and find out i have gained the 2 stone i had lost last year!

Don't eat them, it will be an enormous amount of calories. Give them away or chuck them in the bin.
