To ask you how many pairs of knickers you have?

Sounds kinky, but really isn't.

My DP says I have an obsession with knickers and I think he has too few pants because as far as I can see he always ends up having a pants crisis and he hurriedly has to put a wash on so that he an have a clean pair to wear. I have 35 pairs of pants. I only had 3 pairs at any one time as a kid and young teenager. One in the wash, one drying, one to wear. Ugh! I get stressed just thinking about it. When I left home, I bought knickers, clean white ones, lots of them so I would never run out of them.

I told my DP I would ask you lot to show that I don't have an obsession. That I have a normal amount. He has 6 pairs, btw.

30 - this thread made me count them last night. Three or four could do with binning. I must just buy about six pairs a year and bin about six pairs a year. They are all very much the same - an equal pile of about 15 black ones and 15 white, pink and beige ones. They are all big . Have just realised that TKMax does really lovely, high end knickers for a fraction of the cost in the big stores so will be abandoning M&S for something nicer.

DH has about 12 and 15 and DS about 15 (and they both need new ones - am waiting for M&S to do buy one get one 1/2 price after Xmas. Must buy dd 10-15 pairs a year and she never seems to have more than that

How can some of you manage with so few? You must be forever washing on holiday and it's so boring wearing the same ones day in day out. Do you only have a few tops also? Who needs more than a few of those then, by the same reckoning?

I like a choice. Depends on mood/occassion/colour of bra etc

I also count how many days I need to pack for, then throw in at least an extra pair for a weekend - more extras for longer. I thought everybody did that. People I know do!

I would say around 30-40 - plus a few at the back of the drawer that no longer fit but I can't throw out!

about 15, I buy a 5pack each year and the worn ones are disposed of. roughly half and half black and white. all cotton, some with lacey trim.

Wow, I haven't a clue. I'm amazed most people would without going and counting! I would guess about 50, but then there are nice ones, sad old ones, big ones, small ones, ones for different clothes...

Do most people really keep a track of their bras / knickers / tights / socks these days? (I know some do, but tbh with me as long as I have enough stuff that fits, it's not all old / stretched and it's not busting out the drawers, it's 'about right'h.

Not a woman thing - my DH has about 40 pairs! I have about 6 that fit nicely and are comfortable and probably 10 pairs in reserve that are too small

Must be a woman thing.....my girlfriend has around 40/50 pairs whilst I own around 12 pairs of boxers.

Far far far too many !!! I never seem to throw any away but add to them all the time and I know Santa has brought me some new ones !! Must go threw my drawer after Xmas :-)

However, my real obsession is Coats and Jackets.

I have about thirty jackets and ten coats. Or thereabouts.

Probably 10. 4 of which are huge from latter days of last pregnancy, 3 of which fit quite nicely and 2 old bikini size ones which are just crap. I need new knickers! I also need new bras (still wearing breast-feeding ones), new clothes, new hair, new everything! I WANT A MAKEOVER!

About 15. Mostly M and S comfy ones. I've bought other brands in the past but I like the quality of the m and S ones.

I have about 35 as well I reckon - 20 for everyday and 15-20 'lingerie' style ones never get worn these days - purely drawer decoration. I don't think of myself as being over-supplied in that department.

Mrs. Melons it is tragic to admit that one of my favourite things about being on holiday is the two (minimum) outfit changes a day that necessitate a fresh pair of pants for the evening.

Is there anything more wonderful than a fresh pair of pants?

About 40 pairs I think, I went on holiday for 16 nights and took two pairs for each day - one for daytime and one for the evening. Some of my friends think I am off my trolley!

My pants range in size from size 10 to size 20! (Recently gave birth.) My favourites are black cotton M&S "midis". Not cute, but so comfy! in total, prob 20 pairs left after a recent cull.

I have 25 pairs of the exact same knickers - black lace trim shorts M&S and about 15 pairs of others.

10 pairs. All black bikini style ordinary ones. Suitable for anything. Black knickers don't mind a spillage of blood etc and try never grey like white ones do. V practical.

Dh has 15-20 pairs of boxers. All posh stuff like CK. my entire knicker collection cost about the same or less as one pair of his boxers!

ANd bra i only have 3, i have big breasticles and good supporting bras are expensive. the last one cost £40 and it was nothing special
