This will out me if my sister is on here (hi sis!) but DH is driving me WILD right now with his insistence on pronouncing the G in Gnomeo and Juliet!

Argh, my dh says 'dressing gownd' and 'drownded' instead of 'dressing gown' and drowned' - his mum does the same, and it drives me insane!!!!!!!!!!

I cant say gallery it comes out garelly

And celery is cerelly. I have to really concentrate to say them properly.

I also can't pronounce griffiths, I work on a phone so if I get a mr/mrs griffiths they become sir/madam, no amount of concentration helps with that one, I don't even pronounce if wrong i just say griffthfsss like I'm drunk so now I don't bother.

My mum says 'my face' instead of Facebook. I usually close my eyes and count to three before carrying on with the conversation.

My oh says, "chimley" instead of chimney. I've just had to retype that, even autocorrect knows it.

Tess has a Northern accent, that's why it sounds a bit like cooples. It isn;t wrong. And Darcey only said 'yeah' all the time the first week. SHe's stopped now.
Just saying.

Like Rafael Nadal, who, bless him, is getting better with his English but says SUFRACE instead of surface when talking about the tennis courts! I dont find it annoying tho, i think its hilarious.

Simon Cowell says "undoubtably". Maybe you have to be incapable of speaking correctly in order to be a judge on Twat Factor.
