Wanton disregard for play dough (other squidgy media are available) rules.

My jaw-dropped at the FastAndLooseAttitude, I, of course, genty addressed the child about inappropriate behaviour, and all was well not going to mention the cat food incident.

But, I just can't settle.

I'm all ansty.

I really think ChaoticBoy needs to move away from this
Hoodlum, he may catch some thuggery.

I'm either very relaxed or have been beaten by the advancing army of toys with little teeny pieces. Yesterday, whilst on a separate mission to do with Tupperware, (cover your ears if you're feeling delicate) I poured all the sylvanians, tiny forks, honey pots and all into one basket. I felt a weight lift!

Homemade playdough is amazing because it is meant to be thrown away after a while, is softer for little hands and can be either dough coloured
(carpet friendly) or bright colours (child friendly) Smile. But unless you put almond essence in it it smells nothing like "proper" playdough and even then it is only a bit like playdough smell Sad.

my 20month old mixed 2 sets of duplo yesterday
there were penguins on the fire engine
I had to put him in his room (it was nap time!)

OMG! that is bad, but it is nowehere near on the seriousness par with mixing up the Lego and the Playmobil. I used to need therapy after that.

and plastic bags don't have mathcing lids Grin

but molehill, you can make your own, and make it a lovely bright colour, and it NEVER gets mixed up and goes yucky brown!

People think I make my own playdough because it's cheaper and more wholesome looking. Not true. It's because dreadful things like mismatching lids and colour mixing either don't happen or are less traumatic. And if it has no colour then even the carpet comes off okay.

The playdough and the lid did not match!

This hoodlum is 4.

you mean the child put play doh in pot and lid on pot but not the lid on the pot that it was supposed to be on??

I may implode with incomprehension.

How old is this child? what has it's mother been teaching it? and what about the teachers - surely they have a part in this miseducation?

anyway, frothing over, thanks for the opportunity for a really good froth. Good night all :)

Oh. But surely by the time it goes back in it's all the same shade of purply-brown anyway. So the tub lids do not matter.
Honestly. First world problem. I wish that was the mst important thing I had to think about. How can you worry about this when there are stray dogs in Knowsley.
etc etc Wink

Unless the little poppet was colour blind! Wink

OMG!
That's why I NEVER allow more than one colour out at a time. The disaster! The ramifications are beyond me.
You have my deepest sympathies.

I may have to implement a play doh entrance exam if kids these days are abusing the play doh rules to such inappropriate extents.

New phone chaos?!
