A housepoint for trying. (and take it away for lousy phone posts that send before they are finished....)

Try this photo of Prince philip in the 1930s and pretend he's got Red hair on top. Looks remarkably like Harry to me.

just seen this thread and then googled images of harry, james and charles. he is charles' son wthout a doubt. apart from hair colour he bears no resemblance to james hewitt at all but very very similar to charles in facial features.

He looks just like Charles to me but with the hair colour of the Spencer family. His mannerisms are very charles like.

This rumour is older than Methuselah. Seriously, has this only just occurred to you?

She doesn't she. She looks like he's thinking' I feel like a knob' and she's thinking 'I am not letting this one go' Grin

Bronze - I love that photo - the Queen looks like she's sniggering away and is intending to rip the piss out of him later... (I actually like that they are one of those couples who do look properly still in love in their twilight years)

Interesting what people think it's OK to speculate about and what people think it isn't............

StanleyLambchop · 31/05/2012 12:38

Just me- I totally agree. Speculating on his paternity when he can't answer back, that is just low. It does not matter if he is royal or not. His parentage is his own private business. He seems very much loved by the royal family. Surely that is enough?

I'm sorry, but I think that if he and Prince Charles are happy with the situation then it is none of anyone else's business. I would hate for people to be speculating about the father of my children, because they have different coloured hair or whatever.

I saw the letter from Prince Philip where he agreed to giving a blood sample to help with the identification of the Romonovs remains.

It was a strange feeling that he was linked so closely to an event that seems so long ago.

Prince Philip is the oldest living great-great grandchild of Queen Victoria, being descended from Victoria's daughter Princess Alice.

The Queen is also a great-great grandchild of Queen Victoria, being descended from Victoria's son King Edward VI.

According to Wikipedia, in 1993 they used some of Prince Philip's DNA to help to identify the remains of Empress Alexandra of Russia and her family, as she was also descended from Princess Alice of England.

Prince Philip might have been poor - but he was a Prince of Greece, so pretty good breeding there! Infact, aren't he and the Queen third cousins or something?

I think if you saw this pic without knowing who these two are, you might well say doesn't the son look just like his dad?
