Forgive the name change. This has just been posted on facebook:

"you know when some peoples kids just piss you off and you dont know why lol, there is someone on my friends list with a kid like this who I wont name but hes so irritating and pulls the stupidest ugly faces and his mum things hes hilarious. Everytime I see him I just want to tell her how fecking annoying he is."

so anyway someone put underneath that:

"aww thats a bit mean lol but give us a clue lol"

so she replies

"well for a start who the fuck would call their kid david lol"

ok that outs me straight away. We used to be good friends in school but have only spoken via facebook once since then. I cant believe what shes put and that nobody has pulled her up on it. I feel sick. DS is only 7 and I can't vbelieve some bitch is going around talking about him in such a horrible spiteful way.

How could she know you think his faces he pulls are hilarious or that he pulls faces at all if you havent seen her since school?

I fucking despise FB idiots who make these ridiculous updates, half-saying something, not naming names because they are too fucking spineless to say something outright to someone.
It is childish attention seeking at best. Each update is designed to get as many people to respond in curiosity to hear more details. (To which the idiots respond "I couldn't possibly say - I'll PM you")

These people are sad ridiculous losers. It's a greater shame that in this case the stupid bitch is picking on a child, and it must hurt deeply that it is YOUR child.

I agree with others, she will be judged, not your DS. You could just ask her to say outright who she is slagging off rather than hiding behind her keyboard. And say she should have the balls to say whatever to their face, the silly bitch.

Just cut her out of your life and think no more about it. Thankfully your child didn't see it.

Some people are nasty about other peoples children on facebook (or about parenting in general). Whether or not it's about you, or your son, or David fucking Bowie isn't important really.

If you don't like her, delete her. If you do like her, leave her. Either way, stress not.

I hope this thread isn't a wind-up as I am no mood for shit.

haha, I vote for Brain Surgeon's idea! And then delete her!

'Like' it and add a photo of your DS pulling one of his best faces

what sort of person slags a child off on facebook!? and "someone in my friend list"
delete that woman!! why on earth would you even want to associate with that sort of person!?

Report
WhoseGotMyEyebrows · 06/09/2011 17:52

Seeing as the OP had already heard that this person had said the same thing to a mutual friend then I don't think it's unreasonable to assume it's her child the woman is talking about. I don't think that's paranoid at all.

And to all those going on about it being immature . . . well it might be but it's also downright nasty which makes the immature bit irrelevant. Whether or not you dislike facebook is also irrelevant.

You don't say something so horrible in any medium.

Report
FagButt · 06/09/2011 17:43

she sounds a complete loon, and if I were you, I wouldn't bother putting pics up of your children, then you cannot get loons gawping at them.

BUT I do hate facebook in anycase, so only a limited amount of sympathy from me Grin

Godalfuckingmighty, what are you both 9 years old? Hmm

She sounds like an illiterate ignorant twat. If you don't like each other then wtf are you doing as her friend on FB?

Report
OpinionatedMum · 06/09/2011 17:32

Even if she is not talking about your child she is still being cruel. Delete her.

spookshowangellovesit · 06/09/2011 17:18

ummmmmmm really i think you sound very paranoid.

Where are all these nasty folk on FB? Never seen this kind of crap myself, suppose it depends on the kind of people you have as 'friends'.

Yes, I agree. "Like" it. Then for a while I would wait and see if she reacts, then delete the bitch.

My 8 month old son is called David. It's a beautiful name. Whoever she is referring to she sounds thoroughly unpleasant. Rise above it - I had a lousy experience with facebook yesterday too. Strongly considering removing myself from it altogether.

You sure she'd not talking about Madonna? Seriously though, it's not an uncommon name - you could be taking it personally when it's not....

Just realised I hadn't refreshed the page and stole antshouse's joke. Sorry Blush.

Have to agree with scrambled and banana - this is all so petty, why are you wasting your time putting all those photos of your son on FB and they worrying what other people think of them .................. just 'defriend' or whatever the terminology is - and make sure your privacy settings are set very high so that only people that you want to see your childrens' photos are able to (and maybe consider whether other people really want to see photos of your children).

Don't get into silly 'tit for tat' messages - you will just appear as childish and unpleasant as she is being.
