AIBU to still have a racing heart although I now know it's not? Grin

Made DS a CD this morning, he's playing it in his room and comes in to lounge to chat to me. Has remote in his hand and must of pressed it and TV changes channel. I'm like WTF and DS realising how it was done feins a Shock expression. I put it back to BBC1 carry on with my coffee, DS keeps coming in and standing behind me on sofa and chatting and changing channel and pretending to be as scared as me over the ghost.

As I go to switch TV off not liking it one bit DS ROFL. Grin

AIBU to ask you all of your non existant ghost stories?

Its my birthday and I need entertainment that doesn't involve me shitting myself Grin

It's a while ago now but when my sister had some friends round to stay on hallowe'en (when we both lived at home) I pretended to contact a ghost using playing cards - you ask a question & stack the cards accordingly - red for yes, black for no. I'd already set the timer on the tv and when I asked the question "can you give us a sign that you're here" the tv came on... Grin
The sound of 6 screaming 14 year olds will stay with me forever - it's still talked about and it was 15 years ago!!

A few years ago I was in my friends new car and a CD was playing. A song the DC's love came on and started playing loudly. Friend looks at me and said DC's love this song. I replied is that why you recorded it so loud to CD.

I used to sit in my garden and change the channel on next door's TV just to wind them up Grin

It reminds me of that car advert where the child is a mini Darth Vader and he thinks it is him and his power that keeps locking/unlocking the car!

My brother once got me by telling me his car radio had voice controls. He spoke and the car changed channels/volume went up/down. He had me fooled for a couple of journeys until he confessed that his new car had radio controls on the steering column where I couldn't see them!

LOL, I wish I'd thought of that but no electric gates or windows etc here!!

I was waiting for books to start flying off the shelf and really was getting a frenzy. DS keeps coming in the lounge with the control in hand and LH(is)AO. Grin

I've done that to DD with the telly. She was too young to know about remote controls and believed I was magic for some time.
I also did it when I was driving her to a particular place in Bangkok. I had a card to let me through a toll thing. DD thought I only had to stare at the barrier and it lifted.
Finally, she thought I could magic her window in the car up and down just by saying the words 'window up, window down'. I was using the switch at the front of the car.
Happy days.
