AIBU?

to think that letting a 10 year old watch Eastenders is worse than letting them watch Shooting Stars?

Forget about the time of the night. It is the school holidays. Judgey relative likes to point out how my 9 and 10 year old dn's are allowed to do things that may make them "forward" Angry like going to West End shows that are not typical family viewing (Shrek, Wizard etc) walking through Soho (accompanied by three adults!!) to get to the tube and, another one, watching Shooting Stars if they are on holiday!! Hmm Unless it goes completely over my head, I cant remember any swearing in it. Its just daft, isnt it? Her own watch Eastenders that, to me is worse but, I wont judge.....

To my 10 yo DS the fact that they replace swear words is just the funniest thing ever.

Not that I'm condoning him finding mother flipin' hilarious ( or mutha ukers)

what a great sense of humour your ds's have,i used to love vic reeves big night and the young ones when i was a kid, although my mum had to ban the last one as i developed a habbit of shouting "rik you bastard!"
not a good feature in a 9yr old child Grin
