to think that anynoe who believes in star signs is a complete numpty?

I mean it's so clearly such a great stinking heap of horse shit, how can anyone actually believe it?
Another mum at playgroup today was telling me what kind of personality my 9 month old will have based solely on her star sign.
All pleasant enough stuff but she actually believed it.
What's wrong with people?

No people aren't judged on how they spell, they are judged for calling people evil and nasty when faced with disagreement because they are unable to construct a better argument.

While I am here though I have to ask - does "puntuation" describe where a sentence is broken up or finished with a pun?

hahahaha so people in life are judged on how they spell? Your a Better person because you bother to put puntuation in... i bet the nanny fetches your kids up as well ! I live in a safe & wealthy Mediterranean town with with 350 days of sunshine per year, no traffic, no pollution, and pretty much zero crime. Winter is calm and pleasant, and we are on the beach most weekends as kids play in the sand and the playground while we have wine with our pizzas. Last weekend it was so warm that we were in t-shirts. And soon summer will come and everything will liven up even more. There are always some sort of cocktail, show, or exhibition to go to, but if we get bored, Italy is 15 mins drive in one direction, and some lovely French cities are 15-45 mins in the other direction.

Oh how "grim" my life is, tiger. Will you adopt me and give me a better one?

You come here all guns blazing, accusing people of not being civil, among other things and talking about your "backside" in your first post. Is that because your life is "grim"?

Anyway, the sisterhood of "women folk" at BabyCentre and Netmums will surely be happy to hold your had and give you many hugs and kisses as you tell them all about it.

tiger, I think you've misunderstood the way MN works.

There are no 'monitors' as such. If you have serious issues with a particular post or a whole thread, what you do is click the Report button on the blue bar above a post and report it to MNHQ who will look at it and make a judgement.

You are perfectly free to do that. Or, if you have something to say on the topic of the thread, e.g. defend astrology, then please do join in properly.

tiger - The chances of you and I meeting in RL are so small as to be astronomical. You get a say on the Internet, but unfortunately don't know what to do with it and end up posting garbled rants.

The way you write is that of an angry, confused & uneducated teenager. As I said before, that is not the kind of person anyone takes advice from (except maybe your peers) so do kindly buzz off to Netmums and BabyCentre whose members are more in your demographic. And their posts get deleted often for saying things they shouldn't so you will like it there.
