AIBU?

To think that not many people are going to vote Lib Dem again?

I'm wondering just how much damage the Lib Dems are doing themselves in being part of the coalition.

DH voted Lib Dem but them going back on their University fees pledge has just been the final straw for him and I suspect its the same for many others who voted Lib Dem.

If you voted Lib Dem would you do it again?

Once this coalition comes to an end where will the libdems be left? Falling off the end of the opnion polls I suspect

My DH said that he heard Clegg on Jeremy Vine today. Apparently one person phoned in support of Clegg saying "if half the people complaining now had voted Lib Dem they'd have won outright and we wouldn't be having this problem"

I'm in two minds about that. Personally I'm extremely disappointed--I almost forget there is a coalition with the amount of Tory policies dominating them.

As of this moment I would vote Labour instead as the lesser of these evils. But thats not to say that I write them off completely. They could turn it around.

Ok, so its the slimmest slim chance in a history of slim chances, but I'll give em til the next election to impress me again. Grin

YANBU. Only ever voted for them. Never again. Lily-livered toads.

I will be voting for them again, probably.

Old habits die hard.

Their job at the moment is to prop up the Tory-led coalition government, not to go on a crusade for their principles. A stable government right now is key, I think.

YABU we've no idea how people will vote as the next election is nearly 5 years away. It will all depend on the state of the economy in 5 years time.

YANBU. I nearly voted for them. So glad I didn't. Wouldn't ever make the mistake of even considering it now.
