Ah that'll teach me to read properly! Sussex out dates now, so yours was really quick too Smile good luck with intros.. I have to say I found them very intense first time, I also felt like I was intruding, but the family was so lovely and completely made me feel as much at ease as they possibly could (we are all great friends now)

Thank you Rosieandjim89 I seem to remember it being really quick, like a matter of weeks from panel to my soc worker showing me details of dd1 was yours quick too?

Something harmless to obsess about - I love that comment RatherBeIndoors :-) I'm off to panel for the second time this Wednesday and yes I know I shouldn't be as stressed this time, yes I am aware I'm in quite a good position but I am already terrified - apparently all the trains will not be working, my car won't start and the roads will be under 3' of water - jeez will I ever chill!

I have found it all okay other than the lack of organisation and communication. Even panel was okay really.

Congratulations Flowers we've been told were going to panel late Aug and hadn't even thought about what clothes to wear until I seen this post Shock. How did you find the process?

Absolutely! Dp wore a Hawaiian style shirt with 3/4 length shorts and sandals with socks.
We rocked!

Excellent. I trust they were lace up stilettos and not FLy London or Ugg boots .

And what did DP wear ?

Thanks all. It feels good to have gotten through it.

Kristina- I wore a leopard print halter neck with a leather skirt and boots. Grin

I think smart knee-length straight shorts would actually be okay if that was what you had meant (for you, not your husband.) It was the "casual" aspect I was worried about if he was going to be wearing them.

I really don't think you need to worry at all. Some of the people on my panel looked as thought they had just taken a couple of hours out from gardening in their scruffiest clothes and would be going straight back to that as soon as panel was over.

Good luck!!!!

Hi Rosie, I don't think casual shorts are quite right. Smart shorts for you but definitely trousers for your husband.

Yes, I would go for something you feel comfortable and confident in. My approval panel was in July and I wore smart trousers with a pretty top.
